   I am moving to SF next year for grad school.
   
   For the credit related issues.
   
   How hard is it to get checking/savings with Bank of America or Wells Fargo? I have Wachovia and AMEX banking, but AMEX banking sucks and I plan to cancel.

   Hey....I guess we'll be sort of neighbors!
   
   I personally would skip BofA and Wells Fargo and try Washington Mutual first. They are a good bank and have a lot of locations.
