That Mr. Cooke is something else. I gave him a call begging for a CapOne limit increase and he said "Man, we just gave you an increase in November, wait until April or so and we'll do something". But then he said "tell you what I'm going to do..." and dropped my interest rate to 0% for the next 6 months after which time my permanent rate will be 9.9%. All I could say was "Thank you very much".

I wonder how cool he will be when I ask for the combo next month on the 4th....one month and one day after my last increase which booted me over 5 k in total limits.

    superadman,

That's a great offer. I just tried to get it, though (zero balance on $5K card) - and got transferred to Mr. M. He told me that those offers are not done through the consumer advocate but are dependent on the marketing dept, and so he had nothing for me.

I wonder if this is because I opted not to receive promotional stuff from Cap One or because I opted out of arbitration. :-/...
