Does anyone have Mr. Cookes phone number? I created a Cap1 limit increase on PFB but haven't heard anything. I was reading in a previous post that sometimes people call Mr. Cooke and get a faster response that way. So anybody got the number?
1-800-955-1455 EXT 6418 If it has been less than a week and it is COMPLICATED...it may be too soon... Also they MAY be cutting back on LIMIT INCREASES...since they are cutting back on the "KIND" of accounts the issue...
Hey Mike! Good luck with Eugene. He's a pretty good guy. Whether you win or not, you won't feel like you've were mistreated when you're done. For future reference, just so you can save yourself the hassle of waiting around for someone to answer when you have a pretty straightforward question, you may want to try running a Search first. I did a quick Search on Cooke + phone and got 114 hits, including this thread. Good Luck!
Thanks much George! I appreciate the response. It has been about a week and I had read that Cap1 was cutting back, thats why I was trying to get the request in before it was...well...too late (if it's not already. Thanks again!
Quixote, thanks for the info. I guess being a newbie shows sometimes, huh? I did a search but I guess I haven't mastered the engine yet (or read everything I should have) Thanks for the help. I've heard Cooke is a pretty good guy. Thanks again.
Wow! It worked. I gave Mr. Cooke a call, left a message, and he called back. Very helpful gentleman. He asked me what I was looking for and I said I wanted to combine both cards and raise the limits. He said I could do one or the other. Guess which one I chose? I got my 9 month old Cap1 account upgrade from $500 to $1500 limit (14.9%), and my platinum doubled to $600 (also 14.9%). He didn't even pull a soft. Just looked at the performance of my accounts with pay history. I was actually late 1 day one month on each account. I tried to get him to report the CL so it would help with my utilization factor, but he said Cap1 cannot do that. The only way to get that top number to register is to spend to the limit, then pay back down...which I won't do for a little while at least. Good resource Mr. Cooke he is.(in my best yoda voice) Thanks for the help guys.
