Mr. Miller is back/increases limit!!!! Hello All, Just wanted to share that I spoke with Mr. Miller a moment ago. This was my third request for a credit increase since my last in April. I stated specifically in my voice mail to him that I was not told that it would be 9 months until my next increase. He looked at my account and saw the 0 balance and asked what I wanted an increase for. I stated that I am doing some home remodeling and was looking for an increase. He stated that he would not be able to do a large increase, but asked what I was looking for. I stated my 2 citi accounts were above $3000, and he quickly stated that he is not in the business of matching cards. So I stated given that he was not going to give a large increase, I assumed he was not going to finance my deck @ 5K so I gave the other card limits as a reference. He put me on hold and came back with a $1000 increase to match the 3K. He then clearly stated that it would be 9 months until my next increase and wished me luck on my home remodeling (which I am doing) Mike G.

Re: Mr. Miller is back/increases limit!!!! Thanks Dave. I know many do not like Capital One, but they were the first to give me a chance since I started rebuilding my credit sincerely. My interest is down to 13.7% and now have a 3K limit. I am satisfied with the card. Mike G.

They extended credit when few others would and now I am up to $7,000 on the two gold cards that I have. Yes, increases can be hard to swing, but there is always Planet Feedback and the consumer's best ally, Mr. Miller, when your credit needs a helping hand. Maybe some day CapOne will even report limits. That would sure be nice. Regardless of whether they do or not, though, I intend to be a long-time customer. Overall, CapOne has treated me very well. Re: Mr. Miller is back/increases limit!!!! Congrats to everyone that has had success with Cap 1. I wrote a letter on Saturday to Cap 1 via PF. I received a response on Monday and was told to call and speak to Mr. Cooke. I wrote in an effort to get better terms on an offer they sent me after they had taken my application over the phone. Mr. Cooke said he needed to check on a couple of things and get back to me on Wednesday. He never did get back to me yesterday and I try to be patient, but of course curiosity sometimes gets the best of me so I just called and left a voice mail to check the status. Maybe I will find out tomorrow. I hear a lot about Mr. Miller on the board and hope that I will have success with Mr. Cooke. Cap 1 is one of the best at responding to PF letters.

Sometimes customer services reps get busy, forgetting to follow up on a promise, and it's up to us to take the lead and check the status. Anyway, I hope you get what you want. I also hope you'll get a chance to speak with Mr. Miller. He really is a nice man. And, Mike G, congratulations! I'm glad you got the increase and good luck with the home repairs. Donna

My score went up 29 points when my credit balance posted 0, My auto loan and a separate have not yet posted 0. I Hope to get a boost from that. We'll see what happens. Thanks, Mike G.
