I thought I'd tackle the serious topic of Creditnet Suicide this time. It's a free taped one-minute message (long-distance to Washington state though): It's 1-206-337-1824. Doc
Good message Doc. I was one who left but came back, however when I left I was not angry. Just wanted to let others know why I wouldn't be around. In my case the crap wasn't worth the effort. I suppose I was making a bit of a protest as well. Anyway, I choose to be a part, crap and all. Good message Doc. Happy Holidays everyone. Jeff
Excellent message, PsychDoc. We all get angry at times...there were a couple times on this board where posts were about nothing constructive just constant bickering. I got sick of it and threatened to leave once, until I realized how childish I sounded. To keep my sanity and still collect the useful information that so many on this board contribute I use the ignore option. Dani
Great message Doc! I was gone skiing over the past few days.......I'm assuming that I missed something. Oh well.....
I didn't hear the message, but I do want to say this board has been invaluable to me. I have learned so much. Please keep the good info coming. Phyllis
You missed the Roni/Lizardking disagreement (in 3-4 threads). PsychDoc, That was a good message. Thank you for caring enough about the board to write it.
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Lizardking, actually the message is a response to six months of observations and not about any one person in particular. Quite a few people have reacted that way, so I really regret that you chose this thread as an opportunity to single somebody out. However I understand that it's your right to do so. Doc
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Good message It is true that people become frustrated and leave but that is human nature. I guess it does work when you threaten to leave because then they receive all this sympathy and they feel important or loved. It is very easy to get lost on the internet with the amount of people involved. But, if someone upsets me I don't take it personally. I may just not visit for a couple of days or until that thread has moved down. I am glad all that bickering has stopped because it is very childish and I was last in grade school a LONG time ago. Why would I want to revisit? It seems as some people are not happy unless there are personal attacks going on. Everyone has different opinions there are millions of people on the internet and there are only a few thousand on this site.
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Great message Doc. It would be nice if everyone kept their issues and drama off the board, and we could just discuss credit, and have our usuall friendly banter.
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Those of you who considered leaving but stayed anyway, THANKS A MILLION!!!
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici I think we should take creditnet suicide threats seriously even if statistics do not bear out that the vast majority will follow through on the threat. Still, these are cries for help and even one losss is too many. Doc, would you take on the task of setting up a 24 hour creditnet suicide prevention line to counsel those at risk?
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici I will set up a fund to pay for the line. Please send your money donations via paypal.
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Hey! I just signed up 3 days ago, and doggone it, nobody's leaving!!! I need you. Stay put! Rina -- Conquering through Christ...and Creditnet
Re: Msg of the Day: Creditnet Suici Perhaps an expert on paranormal psychology (if there is such a thing) could explain why those who commit suicide come back from the grave to visit us. This ghostly phenomenon has reached terrifying proportions among us.
