Multiple violations by CRA's

I was going through some past files and came across a letter from Cap1. It stated they notified the CRA's back in December to delete my lates off my CR's. The letter stated that it would take 60-90 days to update my report. Well during that time I dispute the TL's 2-3 times as never late. They were verified sometimes and deleted other times. They were re-inserted twice on different CR's. They never did the proper notification on the re-insertions which is a violation. During the 60-90 days I was denied credit 3-4 times and had my APR jacked on one CC.

I believe they didn't follow reasonable procedures to prevent the the re-appearence and also Subsection 607(b). Did they violate any other sections of the FCRA?

Should it really take 60-90 days for the CRA's to update their records from the time they receive the update?

Any other help would be appreciated.

No, it shouldn't. On the other hand, it may well take Capital One that long to hand process a UDF form, who knows. In any case, armed with primary evidence from the creditor, you've documented several solid FCRA violations against the CRAs. This really points to the need for credit reporting agencies to overhaul the way they do "reinvestigations" (which has devolved into a simple computer-to-computer ping of the same error).
