I have a Dc letter dated almost 30 days ago. I called this morning, and they have not reported to my credit yet. Rep told me they will be any time now since its near 30 days. I disputed it and she said they will obtain verification but it still can be reported during that time. Should I pay immediately to avoid CR being tarnished, or will they report anyway as paid debt? What should be the strategy to not get totally messed up??? Thanks!

They'll most likely report it anyway as a paid collection, which will damage your scores. I would still go through the DV process to protect your rights under the FDCPA and make sure they really do have the right to collect this debt from you.
