Some people have posted their list. Here's mine: 1. Citibank USA Starwood Visa Signature - One of the very few Signature/Rewards cards that has no annual fee. 2. USAA Platinum - This company has an unprecedented volume of positive feedback. No military affiliation required. 3. MBNA Quantum - I have mixed feelings about this issuer. They have a record of bribing Congress to get anti-consumer legislation; also - high APRs; and 2-cycle billing. On the other hand, foreign currency transaction fee is minimal, customer service is very good, and some people got this product @ fixed 9.9% APR. Saar
3) QUANTUM...and 2-cycle billing~~~MINE IS NOT... 11.99% $30.00 BT FEE Not a real "FAN" especially since they still refused to increase the credit limit...(6.5 years and still waiting)...
Hey I like this idea to list our credit goals. Here are mine. 1. To make progress getting rid of the BK and 2 BK chargeoff accounts on each of my reports. 2. Convert my Target guest card to a Visa card. 3. Increase the limits on my 2 Cap 1 cards from $3800 to $5000 and combine into a Platinum card. 4. Make all my payments on time on my new Camry and 6 credit cards.
GOAL...GET ONE MORE OF MY CARDS TO LISTEN TO WHAT I WANT!!! CITIBANK gave me the 0.00% BT for 9 months...that's the first WIN for me, in a long time...
Saar, MBNA has eliminated 2 cycle billing on new accounts, as explained to me by a CSR. My Quantum was opened in January with an average daily balance finance charge computation.
I can tell that I have ADB down at the bottom of the bill...the balance subject to finance charges should be NO HIGHER than the beginning balance of last months bill...(IF YOU DON'T CHARGE ANYTHING). Since I was paying payments of $1,000 to $5,000/month or more on it...the ADB dropped pretty good every month.
