A few years ago I lost my mom the Friday before Mother's day. That was the longest weekend of my life. Take time for yourself and remember the good times and know that he will always be living in your heart. My prayers are with you and your family.
Bumblebee: Know that the Lord doesn't make any mistakes and that "He brought us out of the darkness into the Marvelous Light". It was this past Sept. that I lost my grandmother and I can truly say that God prepared me for her passing. I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT SHE IS IN HEAVEN looking down on me and my family. She was my Sweetheart. I am teary eyed just talking about her now, b/c her spirit is still with me. So, my prayers are w/ you and your family. Keep the faith. Just knowing that your father is in heaven and isn't in anymore pain should be your comfort.

BB I have not responded to your posts regarding your dad b/c quite frankly I have not known what to say. I do want you to know that I am thinking of you and hope you find peace in your time of grief. With that said please also know that we are all praying for you.
