When I started my whole credit repair journey about two or three months ago I pulled my Experian report online once using Credit Expert. I then disputed some information online including some old addresses and haven't been able to pull it online since. I spoke with Credit Expert when I couldn't pull it a few days later and they said that they didn't know why and suggested that I cancel my membership because it wouldn't be of any use to me. Since then I joined Privacy Guard (for the bumpage) and haven't been able to see a report online with them either because it always said there was a problem with my Experian report. Originally they said that "Experian was sending the data in a format their computers couldn't understand". They had no idea why this was happening and didn't know what to do to fix it. I kept my Privacy Guard membership because I was still getting inquiries each time I tried to pull my report. Within the past few weeks the message I get on Privacy Guard has changed to say that they can't provide my report because Experian returned no data. I didn't pay much attention to it because I figured it was just part of the same problem I've been having all along. However, I applied for credit at my credit union this morning and I got a call back saying that she tried to pull my Experian report and it came back blank. I know that there is info on my at Experian because one of my online disputes ended the other day and I was able to get a copy of my report with the dispute results. Additionally, I called Experian to ask what was going on and the rep was able to pull my report as well. She said that she saw the inquiry from the Credit Union, so it wasn't like they accidently got my SSN wrong or something. The rep at Experian was totally useless and suggested that the Credit Union talk to whoever they get their reports from. I asked her why I can't see the report online either and she had no answer. I verified with her that there was no fraud alert on my report. Has this happened to anyone before? Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Brett PS... the credit union said that they'll pull my TU report instead... unfortunatly TU is my worst... and that means another inquiry too ::grr::
I had the same experience. Called CreditExpert and they said that others can pull your report but CreditExpert can't. The customer service rep cancelled my service right then and there and told me to sign up again and see if maybe something jars the system so it'll recognize me. She said it's a huge glitch with some people in the system and they can't do anything for those people to bring back the ability to pull reports daily. She said there's nothing wrong with the reports themselves, just that until this is fixed CreditExpert won't be able to pull reports for me. Apparently this won't happen anytime soon. I tried to sign up again but now they wanted two proofs of my address. I'll post again when they process it.
