    ...just wont budge!

Before filing for BK (6/2/02)...my score was 699...once my filing hit my reports (6/27/02)...it dropped to 634 (not bad considering).

Since then...these are my increases and decreases:

    5/12/02...632
9/17/02...630 Drop due to INQ for my apartment
9/19/02...628 Drop due to Capital One INQ
12/4/02...626 Drop due to INQ from Orchard
    1/16/03...628
2/03/03...624 INQ from Providian & Target
    3/15/03...622

If I didnt list a date...that means there was no change in between.

I have been making payments on time on my student loan and Capital One but neither seem to make a difference in my score. I even paid my Cap1 card in full the first two months I had it...now I am carrying a balance and making on time more than the minimum payment.

My Orchard & Providian have hit so I am hoping these will improve my scores.

Can anyone else tell me why my scores just dont go anywhere??? And what I can do to make them go up?

Not bad considering??? A 65 point hit for filing a BK is pretty lucky on your part. I would have expected at least 100 points.

Well, Cap 1 not reporting CL is certainly not helping to raise your score. I guess, just give it time and keep up the payments and you'll be fine. Check every 6 months and you'll some points. After 2-years, the scores really go up.
