I realize that they are closing down their accts, but today I got my bill, and instead of the normal min. payment they are wanting the full bal. by 4/15 can they do this and if I can't pay the full amount what are they going to do to my credit? Please ant advice is welcomed!Thanks!

WOW...I had an account with FCNB, after I read online and found out they where having financial problems and that they where going to close consumer accounts, I paid my balance in full!!!! I really can't answer your question, but that crazy, asking for the entire balance without notice. Can you balance transfer? to another card?

Re: Re: my fcnb acct I wouldn't worry. I think you can still call too. Here is a statement from their notice of termination. If your Account has a balance due, you will continue to receive monthly billing statements, and you must continue making payments in accordance with the terms of your FCNB Credit Card Account Agreement at the address shown on your billing statements. I would call the number on your statement and ask. I'm sure they know that few people will be able to pay their balance all at once and they made an agreement with you and can't back out just because they are having financial problems. Re: Re: my fcnb acct Thanks, Kim, I am just worried because the acct was closed awhile back, but no CA has contacted me via mail, only through calls at work, while I was paying FCNB, I pretty muchtold them to kiss my big A**, unless they sent me something in writing stating that I owed them something that I was not just going to pay my bill to someone stating they were a CA, without any proof, for the past year almost year and a half I have been making payments to FCNB and they have been on time! So now I am just worried that they will refer me back to this CA I told not to call me at work and they still called, sorry this post is so long, just really working hard on getting my Cr cleaned up so me and my new hubby and two daughters can buy a home! One step forward two steps back!
