Well my first round of disputes has concluded and I wanted to share my results with everyone. On both equifax and experian and got a charge-off removed. My best sucess was with Transunion, which I got 3 charge-offs removed. I was pleasantly surprised with my results considering those negatives were somewhat recent. I plan to wait a while before I start round 2, possibly until the holiday season because I have heard that around christmas time is extremely busy for them and I might be able to catch them on the 30-day rule. I stil have a long way to go before I have good credit again but I am not going to give up. I want to thank everyone who has responded to my posts and who took the time to answer my questions. Hopefully in the coming months I will have more sucesses to share
Congrats on the deletions. But, in my opinion, waiting until the holidays to dispute is a huge waste of time. You have plenty of time to send out another "round" now and get the results in plenty of time to send out more in the holiday time.
I too congratulate you on your deletions. I just had some deletions from mine and hubby's reports as well. In fact, I'm expecting some more results next weekend, and hopefully they will be deletions. Once I got my EXP report back, I started on my second round. Now while waiting for those, I'm goin to start on my validation letters. The thing that I'm going to dispute for sure around christmas time is my judgement. Again, congrats on the deletions. Andi
