ok, I have read, and read...I have avoided more mistakes than one would think. I have learned alot. My first letter will be to correct my address and to delete old addresses. All the CRA's list there mailing addresses as PO boxes. I was under the impression that you couldn't send a CRR to a PO Box. I live in Charlotte NC is there an regional site that I should send my letters to instead of the main address? I'm so thankful for this forum. I'm on the path of taking responsibility for my credit. I'm starting in the mid to upper 500, with a goal of 700+. A main problem for me is the balance owed on my cc. close to 100%. I guess I will start spending more cash!!

Utilization scores are a major component of your FICO score. You should also consider lowering your utilization score.

1*Save your self some time on this one. Just call and dispute old addresses as not correct. You don't have to explain why?
2*Where did you get that wrong impression ?????????????????

You can send CRRR's to PO Boxes. The only thing you can't send to PO Boxes are overnight packages via Fed Ex, UPS, etc.

If you are trying to call PG to get mailing addresses, you are barking up the wrong tree. You will need to contact the Big 3 directly.
