I sent a validation letter to a CA over a month ago and, after receiving the green cards, disputed with the three CRAs. I got my first dispute about a week ago and go my second today. Thank you all so much! It feels good to fight back and it feels better to see some progress. Two questions: 1. Now that it's been over 30 days (and now that two of three CRAs have deleted), what can I do to make sure it doesn't get re-reported (i.e. what do I send the CA?) 2. It's been 30 days since the dispute, should I contact the final CRA or just chill a little and see if the deletion comes like the other two? Thanks again!
Okay. I heard back from Equifax today. They deleted the collections tradeline. Now, all three CRAs have deleted the TL. I have yet to hear back from the CA in response to my validation letter. Please advise as to the following two scenarios. 1. If after 45 days (30 days plus time for mailing) I have not heard from the CA, what should I do? What letter should I send? 2. If do receive a reply from the CA with some lame excuse for validation, what do I do? Thanks!
