I had my first small win yesterday. I have a paid account showing on all 3 CRAs. I disputed with all three and yesterday EFX sent me a notice that it had been investigated and deleted!

I am still waiting on TU and EXP, from what I've read on here, is the EXP TL going to difficult to get removed?

Thank you to those that helped me!

    11-03 EFX 633 12-03 733!
    TU 660 682
    EXP 666 677

    It depends :)

The real question is whether or not the data furnisher replies to the CRA. If they don't reply, then it gets deleted.

My personal experience with EXP, is if the DF tells them *ANYTHING* it is usually kept.

Until recently the other two were reasonably good at checking everything twice, until I noticed a brain teaser on Equifax (3+ months late on the first month the account was allegedly opened.; being reported by a company which the FTC forced into a settlement on fraud.)

Equifax's results to my dispute on OC Fraud (not the account being opened by someone in my name, but that the OC actually committed fraud -- and SUPPORTED by a letter from the Federal Trade Commission; "We have verified that this account belongs to you. We have also verified that this account is being reported properly. If you have documentation that releases you from this obligation, please forward a copy to us."

So all three CRA's can become a pain in the kiester at any time... EXP is usually one of the sticklers. However, on the account that I am having problems with EQ on, TU & EXP both deleted after originally verifing it.
