my morning with equifax grrrr

Well first thing this morning I call to ask if his dispute was received and was told yes and there was an investigation " in progress", great I thought, quick I mailed this out last Tuesday, of course I stupidly forgot to get a confirmation number so I called back. The second rep said there was no investigation and they hadn't received a recent dispute?????? Then she asked what was being disputed, I told her and she said that it was disputed before, so I don't know if they are a) ignoring the recent dispute or b) they didn't get it yet or c) the first or last rep is clueless.
