Just a little ray of sunshine for the newbies I am a newbie myself and don't post often. I have been lurking since the end last year and in my down time between semesters, I have studied the heck out of Creditnet. I remember taking the leap in June and pulling my credit and going through the roof on how incorrect and awful the whole thing was. I had a judgment that wasn't mine and some new things that were not correct and then...ah yes, the last of my bad stuff from my hellion days. My scores were: TU: 409 (I almost swallowed my tongue) EXP: 562 EQF: 562 I have done 2 rounds of disputes so far since June and while I did not have too many baddies to remove (10 was the most) I have gotten the judgment off, old addresses removed, 4 negs off each report and one mystery disappearance off all 3. New scores: TU: 629 EXP: 660 EQF: 692 Experian is proving to be the toughie, which comes to no surprise to anyone. Anyhow, hang in there!! And read, read, read!! I still have to re-read things that I read in December and each time another concept or law seems to sink in. (I have a severe aversion to legalese and while reading case law tend to glaze over and drift...FOCUS! glaaaazze over and drift...lol!) It may be frustrating and scary at times, but it is SO WELL WORTH IT to be free! Hopefully I will have a final post (for my case at least) for you in the next few months. Thanks to all of you who have helped me!
Sounds like you're doing well. Keep up the good work. And don't say your "final" post. We want you to hang around, even when the reports are clear.
Thanks Hedwig and Doc, you two were/are directly and indirectly part of of my success here. Nice to put a face with a name Doc...and Hedwig, you know I could never leave until I convince you to become a lawyer Anyways, once I don't post for myself, it means I am golden Thanks again.
