I just got my report online from Experian (Posted Below), and I was wondering what I can do to make it better... Also, there are a LOT of inquires on there. When I signed to get a car loan, I thought they would pull one report, instead they pulled 7!! What can I do about that? Also, Providian pulled my report 4 times in the past 6 months!!

So, I know my inquiries are killing me, and short of sueing, how do I get them off? And I have tried disputing most of the baddies, and they are verified. And other idea's? Or should I just hang out and let time takes its course for a couple years?

Thank you for all your help, I think this is my 2nd worse report, TU is my worst.

I wouldn't apply for any more credit...I would focus on paying off the collection accounts. Many collection agencies will work with you, and if your nice to them and follow through on your payment plan, will actually delete the account entirely from your credit files. Good luck.

I don't mean to be rude, but most collection agencies will tell you what you want to hear, and after they get paid, will deny saying it. If you deal with the collection agenies, get any agreements in writing BEFORE you pay them.

You keep stating "DEALER DID FOR AUTO LOAN - NOT AUTHORIZED".

If you went to the dealership, liked a car and signed an application for credit, you DID authorize them to pull your credit reports.

Also, there are two blocks of dates (2/2 through 2/8, then again on 2/23) - did you "shop" two different times?

If coded properly, those 7 inquiries will only count as 2 - inquiries for the purpose of an auto loan within a certain period of time (10 days I believe) will only be counted (credit scoring) as a single inquiry - the scoring folks know that you were 'shopping for a car'.

Even though you are not authorized auto dealers, it still show up on your report. In last six month you have too muchg inquiries and half a dozen charge-off accounts or collection accounts. Those things can hurt you to get some more credit. There is too much you can do for inquiry. The collection accounts is the major factor for you getting some more credit. Try to apply for Secured credit cards from FCNB and they are pretty easy to get.
