How does this sound? Trans Union PO Box 1000 Chester PA 19022-1000 December 15, 2003 RE: File Number xxxxxxxx To Whom it May Concern, I have received your correspondence dated December 11, 2003. I did not use a credit repair organization. The letter sent to you was typed on my computer by me and signed in my own handwriting. The law states that information in my credit file must be reported completely and accurately. The information in my file is not being reported completely and accurately. Having said that, I would appreciate it if you would investigate the accounts listed in my original dispute letter to you. You have 30 days from the receipt of original dispute letter dated December 5, 2003. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Sincerely, my dh Should I send this? Opinions please. daisy
Why give them a second chance to investigate? You asked for a investigation. They did not investigate. On Jan 6 send ITS. If you can prove to the Judge that you did not use a repair agency (not that he/she would care), then their frivolous claim has no merit.
There is a really good letter on this site in the sample letters. It worked very well for me. Here is the link. http://consumers.creditnet.com/stra...ad.php?s=&goto=newpost&threadid=16099&pgnum=1 Just a thought.
