    Hey Guys,
Been traveling for the last few weeks and haven't really had a chance to be active on the board... but I have been keeping track when I can...

Thanks to Doc's Trick, about 30 out of 31 inquiries have been deleted off of EXP (hard and soft, including all CEs)...Haven't checked my score to see if it made a difference, but it's nice to see a clean page.

I finally crossed into 600 land (609) on FICO. This is after I noticed a 30 day late notation on one of my Cap One accts. I don't know how, since I pay all 3 accts online at the same time (Gold and Platinum for me, Gold for my wife). I'm going to PFB them tomorrow and see if I can figure out where it came from and how to get it off.

My question is about the 7 year rule. I have several accounts (judgements and charge offs) from 1995 that have all been paid off. According to EXP, all of these are supposed to come off around the first of next year. Is there anyway to speed this process up? I thought I remembered reading a while back about folks disputing with the CRAs early (like 6 months) and them not bothering to verify - I searched but can't find anything related to that anymore. Any thoughts?

    As always,

When it is within 2 -3 months of the dropoff date, you can dispute it as obsolete. At that point, they will most likely just delete it. If it is due to fall off about the first of the year, I would try this maybe in August.

    Thanks LKH,
I noticed on my report that one of the judgements ($170) actually is not showing paid (even though it was paid in 1998) -- says "undefined"....called Equifax but I have to call back because they are "updating their system"....I'm not naive enough to equate that with "fixing their system" :)

    Giving you...

Hey Hurricane, nice to see you back.

Congratulations on the deletions and the score increase! I would dispute that CO as inaccurate. I would do it in writing, not over the phone. Though I am uncertain how "undefined" affects your score.

Hope you had a great time during your travels.

    -Peace, Dave
