I ordered my reports and scores from My Fico, and I am SHOCKED at what I see!! I saw my scores about 9 months ago when a mortgage broker pulled them for me, and although there has been very little change in my report since then, including NO LATE PAYS at all, my scores have dropped drastically. I have not opened any new accounts, and my account balances are around the same. One score dropped over 100 points!!

So, my question is...how accurate are the scores on myFICO? I'm scared now! I thought that a year of no lates or anything would help my scores! I still have a few negatives, but nothing new! Please help. How do these scores compare to the FICO scores you get directly from TU, Exp, and Eq? If anyone has any experience with this please let me know! Thank you...

    9 months ago scores
    TU 699
    Exp 676
    Equifax 624

    Scores now according to myFICO...
    TU 669
    Exp 572!!!!!!!
    Equifax 608

Well, I have been pouring over my experian (my fico) report and I have discovered something. I had a store card from June 1998 with a balance of approx $400..under recent payment history it is listed as ok/unknown until Feb 2004 where it is listed as Charge off/collection/bankruptcy. I'm guessing this is where my score tanked. Why would this happen now? Is this reaging? There is no DOLA listed, and the "date of status" is Feb 2004. What do I do? How do I fix this? I had another account with the same department store which should have had a zero balance, so I disputed it last month. I guess this is payback for that? This just keeps getting uglier and uglier. Please help!

Well the report came from myFICO.com and the chargeoff/collection/bankruptcy is in the payment history section. I guess it is some type of category. It was ok/unknown until feb 2004 and then it bacame chargeoff/collection/bankruptcy. Now it IS a chargeoff, but it's a chargeoff from 1998. Also, I've never filed bankruptcy, and it's a little unsettling that even the word is on my credit report. That's why I was wondering about other experiences with myFico.com reports. I hope I'm making sense. Any info would be GREAT!
Oh and another thing that I didn't like about myfico is that under the negative factors for bringing my score down it says "The time since your most recent past due payment is too recent or unknown" How can it be counted against me if it is unknown? My most recent late pay was more than 4 years ago.
    TIA
    Teresa
