30,000 HITS CONGRATS TO THE QUEEN OF HITS http://consumers.creditnet.com/straighttalk/board/showthread.php?s=&postid=419988#post419988 `
So now we all go to the link and get even more views!! Is there any way to find out if this is the most views of any thread? Congratulations on a good thread, NanaC.
Hmmmmm???? I wonder if this number correlates to the bankruptcy rate in this country? Due to the recession and the dotcom crash many people find themselves awash not in original credit debt but in compounding interest rate debt. Many people think bankruptcy is an amoral or even an immoral action to take for a debtor. This attitude makes many people on these boards feel inadequate if they even mention the word bk. While I do not advocate using the bk laws fraudently there are many people who need the "fresh start" that bk brings. Yes it stays on your credit report 10 years...but many people who have declared bk can attest to the fact that it does NOT ruin your credit for 10 years. As NanaC's post attests to there IS a credit life after bk. It is time for bk'ers to come "out of the closet" so to speak. Let those who are in desperate financial straits have a forum to ask their questions without being flamed. Never, ever advise anyone to seek a Consumer Counseling Agency that is not COA accredited. But as many of us know CCSs ruin people's credit many times worse than a bk would. Congratulations, NanaC, for providing information that has been invaluable for those who have or intend to file for bk. I have had your thread bookmarked since its inception for those people who PM me to ask questions about bk procedure. clc PS I also include Psychdoc's list of "who pulls which CRA" for those in the recovering process.
Wow...isn't this a nice thread to find..and thank you all for such nice words! It's so great that the list is helping!!
