please give me some idea ...

Nationawide Credit called me for $2,200, which I owed AMEX.

    1. I asked the caller to validate it is my debt. the caller pretend he does not understand what I said. and refuse to tell me more ... is this illegal ?

    2. I asked them for their mailing address since I told her I want to send them a letter demand not call me anymore, they refuse , is this illegal ?

    3. the caller threaten me that I will be sued .. and my personal property will be seized ... is this illegal ?

    4. they called me several time at work . I told them stop. they continue to call me at work.. is this illegal ?

if I want to file a complaint about nationwide credit, where should I file ? and can I sue nationwide credit for violating the law and my rights ? if they ask me what law and what rights, what should I say ?

    many thanks !!!

Did you record the phone call? If not, its hearsay.

I would still document, send it certified, and try to get them to blink. Sometimes "they" record conversations and could (but not likely) review it.

Hey, what's the worst that could happen? 15 minutes and $3-4 lost?
