The NCO Atny Services called my next door neighbor and was practically begging her to put a note inside our mailbox for us to call him. After she asked him if he was suggesting that she do something illegal, (Mailbox) he then asked her to just put it on top of the mailbox or on the front door. She told him to take a hike.

Isn't that streching section 804? Communicating with 3rd party. I thought that was for a validation/confirmation of address or whereabouts of the debtor? Not for use as a messenger service! I think they are walking a very fine line.

I should be thankful though, as they are the reason I found this board.

Some other people that I have spoken with have said that they may be scraping by the law with this one.

    Not really sure.
