I received a letter from NCO regarding a small credit card charge off, I believe this is one that the creditor did not have a date of last activity, so they just went by the date opened.. and it fell off Experian recently because it was opened 7 years ago. The creditor now owning this debt, assumed it through merger. So anyways, I was thinking that I should send NCO a validation letter, but I have never done this yet... I have only sent disputes to the 3 CRAs so far. I do not have the letter on me, but I assume it is a PO Box, in this case how do you guys send it CRRR? Can you send CRRR to a PO box? I do not think they can put this on my reports, I think this may be a last ditch effort, but I better not take the chance right? Thanks in advance.
Yes you can send CRRR to PO Box. But NCO has regular mailing addresses....I sent my validation to: NCO Financial Systems Inc. 1740 Walton Road Blue Bell, PA 19422-2306 They have several addresses. You will get a reply from their compliance department. This address brought my NCO deletion in exactly 30 days from date of receipt. -Peace, Dave
This address is no longer valid, and they say 'forward expired'... I am suppose to receive the letter back... crap.. now it appears this item will post on my reports... what should I do now??
This company is quite irritating! I recieved my crrr all back today with the same stamp on it. "fowarding Time Expired" whatever this means. I am glad I Fed exed & faxed the same letter to them. They are acting like a child not wanting to take their medicine! It took twenty eight days to get this letter back as un deliverable.
Gilliner, did you try the address or FAX for the compliance officer I heard from, in this post? -Peace, Dave
Hi Nave, I used that fax number and faxed the letter. Then I faxed a copy of the fax journal afterward. I have a signature proof of reciept of the fed ex letter as well (this letter was delevered the same day just before I sent the fax). However, this letter was sent to an address I found here in California. It was a job listing for a collection agent. I did not use the other address given on this post. What now? I have heard nothing from these people.
Letter sent to NCO PA address in late December/early January 2002 (NCO PA address given me by Equifax) FAX# and 2nd address from the compliance officer was received end of February. -Peace, Dave
ok, forwarding address should last for 6 months, so something seems wrong.. is it common practice for CAs to constantly change addresses? I am sure it is...

She never did get either the green cards or the letters back. So what are you complaining about. At lest People on here aren't telling you some B.S. lie about men from outer space taking yours. 59
I sent letters to NCO many times.. and was able to get removals of ALL their items on my CR. I ended up getting 4-5 account sremoved by them.. just keep persisting in validation and lawsuit threats against them.
