Requested validation from NCO regarding an account that is in collections, but not yet placed on my credit report. Received a letter yesterday from them that said they have turned my account back over to the original creditor and that they have closed the account in their office. I thought it was pretty funny that the last line of their letter says "should YOU have any information that will assist US further, please contact the undersigned". Like I would give them any information to assist them!!! I guess they had no validation information to give me and they knew that was their only option, what do you think???

Could be, if you didn't demand the cease and desist from contacting you.
