I sent out a validation for NCO. How much fight do they put up? Do they fold like a house of cards?

They are dumb and put up a fight. Cookie cutter BS answers. I got them to delete after about 3 months of back and forth. Once I found their CEO's email it was downhill. Got the deletions in 2 days.

This is how I learned to handle NCO:

When you get the 1st collection letter, send your DV and a C&D. I have *never* had them find their way onto my bureau after that *and* I never hear from them again. :)

For the ones that were already on my bureau, I sent DV, then called them. I let their A$$hole reps violate the FDCPA while on the phone with me, get their name and the name of their supvsr and then follow up with a threat to sue for FDCPA violations. It gets deleted everytime! ;-)

    Good luck!

NCO has now turned my account over to another collection agency, PMS, Progressive Management Systems in West Covina CA. So, I will now send PMS a validation letter.

I'm dealing with PMS now, I think they are worst that NCO.
