Did a search on these and couldn't find the answer. Are you able to get reports from these companies? Or are they just 3rd party data repositories?
Hi, I went to Telecheck and I cannot find anywhere on their site where you can order a report. At NCPS, I couldn't find anywhere on their site to order your report. I know my post doesn't answer your question, but I found your post interesting because I hadn't even heard of NCPS. Perhaps you could e-mail them and ask? Good luck......
I had the same experience on the sites. The contact option for NCPS seemed to be directed to encourage businesses to use their service. I think NCPS is used primarily by banks in the Northeast like a Cheksystems. I appreciate your looking though. I thought that I might have missed something.
ChexSystems isn't really used in the Northeast, NCPS (National Check Protection Service) is the primary new account validator used by banks here.
No, I actually use them at work for employment verifications of new hires therefore have gotten to learn something about the company. I would imagine that you could get a report.
Thanks for the reply. I just don't know if it's something that I need to pursue. When I received my Cheksystems report, I was surprised to see that one of my bank accts wasn't on there when I had seen the rep "run me through the system" a couple of years ago. I have since realized that it was NCPS that she used. I guess my standing w/ them is okay b/c I was able to open the acct. I just get curious about what is out there on me, if you know what I mean.
Hi Telecheck has a phone number..I called them and gave my social sec. # and they were able to tell me a check number and amount to what the think I owe them..... Good luck Jamie
