write a letter for me. I could write it myself but I figure coming from an attorney would be all the more --fun-- to think of the OC's reaction. I have a $2000 debt to a local company showing on TU. They have a CA lisiting it but CA has never contacted me and I want it off my report. Well I found out that the "financial/accting" person at the OC who took over my former job at another company told some of my former co-workers that I have a $2000 debt never paid and is now in collections. I want then to think I am suing for her sharing(gossiping) this info and think that a letter from an attorney would be enough for them to dismiss debt with no predjudice against them or myself. There's a tad more detail than that involved but before I even sent a validation letter I want to hit them full force. This person who told a few people of my debt is still in a position of authority at this company so I know the embarresment factor of her actions will make them just want me to go away, and clear out this "questionable" debt. Anyone know of an attorney in California to contact? I don't want to get reamed by the attorney but am willing to pay a budget price for the letter!
