recieved a letter from consumer first consultants...stating that discover bank had filed a summons for me to appear in court...it states that the date of the summons is feb 25 2004...i have yet to recieve the summons....have already sent letters to the cca, all they sent me were cc statements.... now what should i do thx for any help
oh, and they are a debt settlement company...now i already went thru a consumer credit agency, and they couldnt help..... what is my next step....a little help please
Find out what court that Discover had "send you a summons"... then contact that court and find out if there are any cases pending there in your name. 1. If they won't tell you the court - they are probably lieing, and that kind of statement is a HUGE NO NO.
who do i send the letter to.....the cca, or discover....according to the letter from the debt consolidator, the case was filed in the city of los angeles, when i went to the website for the court, and plugged in the case # nothing came up
