Wrote them a letter and sent supporting documents to prove that they shouldn't be reporting an account that was included in our bk in 2001 and that they didn't purchase until 2002. On EQ and TU both NEXTCARD and Merrick are reporting accounts and Merrick of couse assigned a different account number. I think I was told that the number of accounts included that shows on my credit reports doesn't really matter overall but this just frosts my hide. Sent it CRRR and got green card back signed on 2/26 and haven't even gotten a "nice try but no dice" response. Nothing, nada! What, if any, should my next step be to try to get them to delete? I wanted to write to my states AG but wasn't sure that would be the way to go. It's more the principal of them doube reporting for the same debt that's already reported!!! Any ideas to try or who to write to would be a big help. Thanks for listening!! Needed to vent... Newstdt
