I have a orchard bank cc and I have incured some over the limit fees, is there anything I can do or say to try to get them to wave some of them.... the acct is still open
I don't know about Orchard specifically, but at the first over-limit fee, it was time to contact them to see if you could get a CL increase and also ask for a fee waiver. After a bunch, you look like you're in trouble financially, or can't manage your money. If you are so dependent on one lender, you are setting yourself up anyway, separate from whether carrying that debt is a good thing or not based on interest rate and your income. High balances, and no unused available credit with others, depresses FICO, and flags you as a risk to the lender where you are near the limit. Unless they are bound by terms like "BT at fixed rate until paid", you are asking for both a CL decrease, and a rate increase, as they tell you 'subtly" to back off.
