It has been 7 months since my BK was discharged. I now have 2 good accounts. Car loan Student Loan My Exp is now at 588. What do I need to do to bring the score up? CC's or gas cards? Or even a reatail jewlery store account? Hopefuly this is not a too noobish question Thanks, Cid
Don't mess up the 2 good accounts under any circumstance. Any additional new accounts that you can acquire will be good. Remember...this is your second chance!!!
Oh I learned my lesson. This time around I am much more wiser. I am trying to get my score to 620, so that I can finaly buy a home. I am 35 years old and have never owned my own home. This is my dream!!
Get a GOOD secured credit card. The best appears to be American Pacific Bank www.apbank.com. Never be late or go over the limit. As the pervious post suggests, MAKE SURE that you are never late on your other accounts. Paying your car loan ahead of schedule will also help.
