Re: Need Advice to deal with Midland! Wow, midland is all screwed up. They commited another violation, my bank just told me that they tried to withdraw funds from my checking account on 6/6/2003. Summary of violations since 5/30/2003: Added midland TL to EQ on 6/1/2003. The OC was deleted by EQ on 5/27/2003. After adding TL, refused to put account in "..dispute..". Called my house on 6/4/2003 to thank me for payment. The funny part is, they were upset that I did not call them before they ran the post-dated check. Really, was I being a jerk for not calling them? Someone did sign the validation letter on 5/30/2003 which was addressed to the assigned collector for the alleged debt. Bank confirmed that post-dated check was returned on 6/6/2003. [/list=1] What now: Should I dispute the TL on CRAs and wait for another violation? Should I just sit back and wait the remaining 21 days before disputing with CRAs and sending Estoppel? Should I send ITS now due to the multiple violations? The letter I sent before was a modified version of the Estoppel. I just extracted the "silence" parts. I wanted it to be different, and I liked the tone of the estoppel. However, the letter was clear, prove the debt as valid or delete the TL. [/list=I] Please advise. -hreid -->Stuck in 500 club-->
