I was layed-off after 15yrs and now my credit stinks again . My mother in law is getting a decent sized loan for me on my home and will be self employed . My credit score is 475 mainly because of medical bills . Should I get a bunch of secured cards to start building credit again ? Buy a car and pay it off ? Hire a lawyer ? Any advise will help .
