I am in the middle of getting a mortgage loan and needed 8 more points on Experian to qualify for 100% There were many items that needed to be disputed. They don't even have my name spelled correctly or correct address along with debts that were fully paid and ones that I have no idea what they are. So in order to dispute online which is supposed to be the fastest route and I am under major time contraints. I ordered the single report so i could dispute. The report came but it has no report number or contact info. All the numbers I have are automated and you NEED the report number to get through to an actual human being. I have also sent numerous emails and have received no response as of yet. When I pulled the report I also found that now I am only 2 points away from 100% financing! I plan on writing letters tonight and sending them out just in case I can't get through but the ONLY reason I ordered it from them was to be able to dispute online. I had all of the info prior to that from my mortage guy. Any advice or info? Has this happened to anyone else.
looking back at my experian CRs...I've ordered from the EX site AND creditexpert w/score power. Anyone of those will email you with your order number (on EX) or reference number (CreditExpert) Click the link in the email to view again - I was able to online dispute with creditexpert - you do it right on your online report.
Try calling (714)830-7000. An operator will answer. Just tel her that there are some things that you would like to dispute on your credit report. She'll transfer you. Then just tell them that you pulled it online and don't have a number.
