I am helping someone out on their credit and we need to fax an intent to sue. The DOLA is 1-96 and they will NOT validate or even respond to correspondence. Has anyone dealt with them at all?
I am dealing with them right now as well. They show up as Purchased Paper, but I found(just like you) that the company really is RMA. The fax I used on 4/24 was 1-770-232-2493 Atten: Nicole Cummings, Compliance Manager. Also, do a search on www.bbb.com for RMA. I had a collection I had paid on my EQ report Risk Management still had listed as "unsettled". I challenged it, it got deleted, BUT they pulled a hard inquiry on me. They had done this a couple of years ago too, but they denied knowledge of it. This time I sent your great "permissable purpose" letter. I won't hold my breath waiting for the $1,000 check though.
