I know that you all are tired of me. But I do plan to hang around even after my mess is cleared up to help others based on my experiences. I completed a credit app today for a fone from Nextel. They use TU. I have 4 remaining derogs which are all pending now. What do you all think are my chances of getting this fone without money up front?
Last time i checked, nextel is a stickler on the deposit department. I had 6 derogs and 10 positives they asked for $600 deposit. Needless to say i went to at&t wireless and paid $0 deposit.
I don't know about Nextel, but I just looked at the Sprint brochure. Their plan for the credit challanged is payment of a deposit up to $125. If you qualify, it may be as low as $25. And, there is a $34.95 connection charge. They indicate you will get the phone as long as you have a credit history.
Well my situation is/was this. I have a fone under someone else's account and she is a MESS! We are pretty close to falling out. So when I discussed this with NEXTEL they modified the account without her okay (LUCK). Now they are waiting on me. I already have the unit. Like the service, but I just have to get over this hurdle. Will they see the derogs with the remaining items pending?
