Ok, disputed several things online and via fax with all 3 CRA's. Some of the items are showing "remains" or "verified" on them and some are still pending. The 30 days is not up. I have also done 4 goodwill letters about 2-3 weeks ago and have not heard back or seen changes for any of those accounts. These are the ones I need to try something different with and need to know what to do next:

Sears - late pays only - disputed as never late and sent goodwill letter prior to that dispute. Letter came back from Sears saying "the disputed info reported to CRA's is correct". That's the only response I've gotten and Experian says "remains"

Lane Bryant account that went to CCCS and was paid in full is reporting "paid charge off". This account is due to fall off in about a year. Sent goodwill letter to delete or change the status to no avail. Disputed and came back "remains" or "verified".

There were 3 others I sent goodwill letters for (Citifinancial - 2nd mtg., Homeside lending, Discover) and have gotten no response. I disputed the Discover as never late and results are pending.

So - not much goodwill to be had so far. Is it time for nutcase for paid charge offs and lates or time to verify or what next? Should I ask for the verification info on the one they say is reporting correctly?

Yes, I've read the FAQ but all of these various options start running together after a while! Thanks a bunch for any assistance with these stubborn things! I have managed a couple of small successes along the way - got one charge off (paid) to report in good standing and paid - this one all started as their billing error and grew to unbelievable proportions and I conviced them to fix it and the other was a Capital One secured that I sent back as soon as I received it due to the credit line not being as promised and they deleted too. So some of it's working but a lot of it isn't! Patience is obviously not one of my virtues!

Slow down, and wait for the 30 days to expire, and see what happens. You may need to dispute multiple times.

It takes time, it is not an overnight process. Just keep plugging away at them and reading the board.

    Hang in there.
