Need help for building credit. Please. In 2000 december , Capital one issued me a credit card with credit of $200 and as I got a card from Amex with credit limit of 2200. I did not even activate the capital one credit card. I changed my apartment since then and did not receive the monthly bills from Capital one ( I still don't know why were they sending me those bills when I havent used the card at all ) . Eventually I got a letter from collection agencies and settle down with capital one by paying $200 to them in December 2001 ( I think this is called charge off right ?) Now because of this charge of or delinquent account, My credit card applications are rejected most of the times. I have Amex with 2200 , Household with 300 and Providian with 750. I need to build my credit. Please advice. Thank you very much Skander
Need help for building credit. Please. So, do you ever use the capital one Credit card? If not, then you can call them back and dispute the transactions. Someone might using your CC.
