I'm still trying to get a hang of what constitutes a violation (I know a few of the basics). I have 2 accounts that I need help in identifying what their violations are. I truly appreciate your help. Account 1 Listing on all 3 CRAs Creditor A (OC) ~SOL for this state is 4 years ~DOLA: 8/99 ~Last updated: 2/01 ~Included in BK filed 9/00 (discharge 1/01) ~Pulled CR in 5/02, 11/02, 8/03, 9/03 & 12/03 ~ 1 CRA shows it as charged off. ~ 2 CRAs show it as open with a balance. ~ 1 CRA is reporting a balance of 10K more than loan was and 10K more than they wrote off. Account 2 Listing on EXP only Creditor B (OC) is a credit union (if that matters) ~SOL for this state is 4 years ~DOLA: 9/98 (according to them) ~DOLA: see repo date below (1988) ~Repo'd: 1988 ~Reporting that it was in a BK in 1998 ~ BK was really in 1990/91 Last updated: 9/98 ~On CRA still ~CR pulled 1/04 Now in the 2nd account, yes it really was 1988 when this happened and they've last updated in 1998 - abt. 7 YEARS after the BK. Is this re-aging? We COULD call it an error, but they even list it as a bk'd account and still show the listed activity. I really need help identifying what violations have occured here. Thanks!!!!!!
