i have a question if an account was paid off back in 04/05, does the oc have the right to keep reporting you as paid charge off every other month aftr you paid off an account for an example the tl state its a bad debt nov/05 bad/debt dec/05 bad/dpt -01/06bad/debt -03/06bad/debt -04/06bad dept-06/06 bad debt.keep in mind i paid this off back in 04/05 and i have a letter from the oc stating that i dont owe them anything and the account is been paid in full with zero balance the dated letter is from 05/10/05. wouldn't they be in any violation based on the bad dates wouldn't it be about a thousand bucks per every wrong date. thanks for the help.
