Hello All, I am a long time lurker that has used alot of information from this board to really impact my files - and am greatly appreciative. I have always had a limit to how far I would harass or push my creditors. Suing - was a little aggressive for me. Hovewer, a CA - Risk Management Alternatives - really chapped my hyde last week and I want to stick it to them so ... Here is what happened. First, I called them after three hard pulls of my file but no communiation. They said they had my correct address but mail was returned by the USPS. - A lie. After three months of 3 pulls the initial communication arrived the next day after I paid them. Second, they said that if I wanted to have the debt validated I was refusing to pay the bill and thus would be considered a non-payment account. They would then move the tradeline from collection to charge off to more negatively affect my credit. I understand that these are marginal infractions of false and unfair statements in the FCPA but ... f#^%'em. I think it is absolutely reprehinsible to take punative action for requestion a valitdation. So, If anyone knows where I can find a boilerplate complaint or has any advise ... it would be much appreciated. Thank you all!
