Here is my problem...Me and my husband have had about 15 accounts that went bad about 6 years ago. I have been doing credit repair on them for about 2 years off and on and I'm down to this left on our credit.

    equifax me 1 bad account
trans union me 3 bad accounts
    experian me 6 bad accounts

    equifax him 4 bad accounts
    t. u. him 8 bad accounts
experian 8 or 9 bad accounts

I read about this program called direct credit, the site is wwww. directcredit.com but it is 49.00. Has anyone used this? or do you think I should just keep doing it my self. The credit bureaus especially experian, don't want to verify. they say they already did, so needless to say i need some advise. thanks

    bgolden-

credit repair is a ripoff. they can do nothing for you that you are not capable of doing yourself.

you can ask credit bureaus to verify entries on your report but this is not a wise thing to do if you know they are valid and can be verified.

If the bad accounts are already 6 years old, you should do nothing since the Fair Credit Reporting Act, a federal law which governs how long derogatory information remains in your file, requires credit bureaus to remove
unpaid accounts seven years after the last activity or charge off.
