In GA, once a judgment is satisfied, the judgment creditor must notify the court within 60 days. If not, damages of $100-500 can be recovered. I would like to recover the damages I am due b/c of this.

If you would like to reference the statute, check www.ganet.org OCG 9-13-80.

    Any help would be appreciated!

The right person to ask would be BREEZE!!!. If you want, post it over at yahoo credit board. You must sign up, but they always gave me the best answers to these questions.

I would call the clerk of court where the original case was filed and ask how to go about getting my money. Lots of times the clerks can tell you little things like that.

Just wrote the property management company I used to lease from. Used the tactic Christine used with Wells Fargo on Bayhouse.com (ie send me my money and I will shut up, hehe) and requested that they vacate the judgment on top of that. Waiting for the response. Gave them until 1/31/2002 to respond.

    Update:

Their response to my letter what that they cannot make a decision on this matter until they have docs of the judgment and payment thereof.

    Should I supply it?
