...anyone familiar w/SST?...they sent someone to my house at 7:30pm claiming we owed them $$...car loan was w/MMCA then SST took over and ever since it has been trouble...we pay the car note on time every month and have the cleared checks to prove it yet every month they call and harrass saying they didn't receive payment, blah, blah, blah, then they say it was a mix-up...this was the last straw...someone coming to our house!...could anyone offer advice? I need more than your avg debt validation letter!

Big dog? Maybe there are ordinances in your city requiring door-to-door solicitors to be licensed? Post no trespassing signs? You might talk to your local PD and ask them what you can do. You might also check your state laws to see if it covers OC's, maybe its harassment?
SST is the new owner...acct has always been on time...one day we got a letter saying that they were taking over but we would still be mailing to the same maililng address...every month we go through the same drill...they call claiming they didn't receive paymnt, and we verify that nt only have we mailed it, but the bank says it already cleared...they apologize...same thing the following month...either they're terrible recordkeepers or something else is goin on...
Have you ever called Mitsubishi and found out what the heck is going on? Especially since its the same address as before? Maybe that will enlighten you.
