    Hi guys,

I kinda have a problem and was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions. This may be a little long so bare with me.
My husband go transferred 2 1/2 years ago to Texas and we still own a house in Kansas. We put in on the market but couldn't sell we think due to a neighbor who wanted to buy it for next to nothing but thats another story. So, I had a friend who was needing a house but couldn't get it financed right away. I know, I know, I should have known better. Anyway we agreed to let them move in and make the payments until they could get it financed. Well it will be two years in October and the payments have only been current one time when I made the payments with some insurance money that was to be used to replace a central air unit that was stolen. I am so frustrated. She always gives me a sob story ( she has 5 kids) about how broke they are. I have bent over backwards for this family and even offered to help her clean up her credit so they could get it financed but in the meantime she is ruining my credit! I have been very successful at getting some items off my husband and I's reports but the late pays are killing us. My husband wants to let the house go back but I don't want to have to deal with a forclosure on our credit on top of everything else. We filed bankruptcy and the first mortgage was included so I don't think they can report that one I'm not sure but the second mortgage was gotten after the bankruptcy. I would really like to get out of this if possible any suggestions? Oh another thing, We agreed to sell this to them contract for deed and I wrote up an agreement on my computer and signed it but I sent it to her and she never signed and sent it back. So I am not sure this will cause us any problems. Needless to say she has not been a very good friend and I am just fed up with being used. I do have a rental agreement signed by us and her though that I needed when we go our home here financed.
I can have her evicted but then what to do with the house? My husband and I cannot afford the payments on our house here and the one there also. Well sorry so long. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Andra

Put the house on the market and sell it. Tell your "friend" that you have no other choice and that when the house sells, she will have to leave.

Her problems are not your concern.
