I have an old account with Cross Country Bank and has been in derog status for a while now- was opened in Dec 1996 and they have been reporting it as a chargeoff every month for at least 2 yrs now. I want to get validation but CCB has never turned it over to collection. Two CRAs still show the balance as $2700. Just wondering how I proceed with this. Any suggestions would be helpful. TIA
