I have a credit card that "closed by consumer" it is riddled with lates, the last being early 2001. It was a secured card.

I have disputed it twice.... came back verified
I have sent nutcase and son of nutcase..... they responded with activity printout for last year of account.

Question is where do I go next:

Do I follow up with the crazy f$#%ing uncle nutcase letter?

Do I file complaint with SD banking commission ( it is a bank issued card) and hope that this gets their attention?

Do I file a lawsuit for FCRA violations since they have not notated account in dispute?

    Hi UnionDiva,

    Are they correctly reporting?

Have you been late on these dates?

    ???

yes, they are correctly reporting as I can tell.
The late dates seem to be correct ( althought there is one in error)

i figure maybe like the nutcase, these agencies can help influence them to delete the account, since it is paid, why should they care!

    Well ...

Dear sirs, YOU are reporting incorrect info.

If you send them an "intent to sue or cure within 10 days" they probably will pull a CR to see what they are incorrectly reporting. That's because you have NOT told them what they are reporting incorrectly.

Then you have them on No PP.

Since they are reporting incorrect info. you have ammo anyway.

If it were me, I'd send them an ITS (Intent To Sue), wait ten days and file on day 11. I'd go ahead and file and serve them with a case number. Once that happens they will be in touch quickly to "settle" and make you go away.

These people, as with many of them, don't take you seriously until YOU get serious. They have their own "This Person Is Serious" department. The good news about these people is/are they do buckle at the first sign of a law suit.

That's when I'd tell them "I will CONSIDER" dropping the suit AFTER the TL is deleted.

    jmo.
